Gus Hansen and Patrik Antonius Demonstrate the Art of Poker Floating

The term ‘Floating’ in poker refers to calling a bet on the flop with the intention of betting and taking down the pot when your opponent checks to you on the turn or the river. It is considered to be a “defensive move” against the common continuation bet on the flop. Floating works best when in position, against a single opponent. Watch, in two separate hands, Gus Hansen and Patrik Antonius floating on the flop and the turn, taking the betting lead when they sense weakness.
