Re-stealing is the obvious counter move in today’s poker tournaments where players aggressively steal the blinds. You can’t always have a good hand when you re-steal. A2 is profitable as a call but it won’t do a good job realizing it’s equity out of position and therefore would make a more profitable raise. Hands that play poorly out of position are hands such as weak aces which don’t often make strong hands.
